Carl Hutchens
This guitar was the first in the Purple Heart Collection. It was built for Carl Hutchens, an active musician in the Austin area, who served in Viet Nam. Besides the Purple Heart, Carl received two Bronze Stars and a Silver Star. He retired from the US Army as a Staff Sergeant.
