Lone Star
Lone Star is where it all began. I wanted a Tele-styled guitar with a look you just can't buy from the mass production guys, and I was on a limited budget. The result was Lone Star. It features a mahogany body and neck with a rosewood fretboard. Plus, with the Lindy Fralin P-90 in the neck and Blues Special at the bridge, it has a great sound. Finished out with a Lone Star headstock, arm and leg contours, and belly cut. I enjoyed making it so much, I started Guitar Smith Customs. It also earned a Blue Ribbon at the State Fair of Texas' Creative Arts Competition.
